I have always felt that a if a conference would just take the lead and
create partner women's team then both could go hand in hand. Matches could be scheduled together to help minimize travel costs. Additionally, since women wrestle freestyle at the collegiate level, it'd be an educational experience for the fans as they'd get to see (and learn) freestyle ... which is quite different.
I always thought that the Big Ten should have taken the lead on that, but I think the ACC could easily carry that torch. It'd be the ultimate response to Title IX impacts on men's wrestling.
