Drumming fingers ... (daddle un daddle un daddle un). Easily the toughest
part of adulthood is learning to wait for a FedEx delivery that requires a signature. The delivery has been on the truck, out for delivery, since 7:43 this morning, leaving a location less than 8 miles from my home.
I could easily be on my way to the Harris Teeter for "provisions" which might give rise to the potential of some life-saving coincidental occurrence like rescuing animals from a burning barn and giving them CPR.
But no, I have to wait to sign my name. Can't even get in the shower for fear I'll miss the driver.
