I haven’t seen too much negativity

And there is really no place for it.

The most disappointing part of this season has been McFadden. That guy is a stud and the heart of this team. He is clearly battling some mental or physical obstacles and I have hope he can turn it around. But it’s hard to look at guys like Bolen, Latona and Andonian and not be excited for the future. Hell, roster building is half the fun in this sport.

At the end of the day, wrestling is about the individuals. We are lucky to have guys on this team like McFadden and Bolen who have a chance to reach the pinnacle. And I love imagining a roster filled with guys who have similar potential. I couldn’t be happier with the work our coaches and wrestlers put in this year. This “rebuilding year” turned out to be a lot of fun. I just can’t wait to see what they can do once they’re “rebuilt”.
