I thought the umpiring this weekend was as bad as I’ve ever seen - especially today. For a top notch tournament like this one, you should have the best in the business calling games, but I sure didn’t see it. I thought the group today was particularly egregious.

I fear our infield defense may be hit and miss all year long. I’m especially surprised at the number of bunt singles that we seem to give up.

Finally, and most importantly, this weekend was HUGE. My most optimistic thoughts would not have had us winning three games, especially after that first one against OK State. One can argue that we should’ve had four wins but I will take three and be tickled to death. We have Shown that we can play with anybody.
