Not sure what it looks like now but Rincon in Puerto Rico was great

10 years ago. Puerto Rico has a national marine park very close to the town of Rincon and it has the largest brain corals in the caribbean (or at least it did). Some awesome sea fan gardens too. Lots of fish (tangs, lion fish (unfortunately), turtles, tarpon, etc...). I've done a lot of snorkeling and would compare it to the outside reefs of Hanauma Bay, Oahu in terms of variety. The big difference being if you go in the late Spring you will have the place to yourself. Like nobody else on the beach at all. Empty. My wife and I spent 3 days snorkeling their and maybe saw 1 other group on the beach the entire time. Again... 10 years ago pre hurricanes so take with a grain of salt. Some great B&Bs walking distance to the beaches.
