When I was wrestling in the 60's, Frank Teske was the coach. We wrestled in the Southern Conference and usually had several conference champions. Brandon Glover finished third in the NCAA as a junior but could not wrestle as a senior because he had competed as a freshman--the rule at the time.

The athletic director at the time, Frank Mosely, would not give only limited amount of money for the wrestlers to compete in the NCAA tournament or any other tournament Mike Grandstaff and I had to pay our way to wrestle in the tournament in Chattanooga

It good that have times. have changed.
