I had posted earlier about not getting to cocky about our dual wins and a couple of people cocked their eyebrows.. As the very knowledgeable wrestling posters have stated on here (and I dont count myself among those), we probably have 2 legitimate AA contenders on the team and the others will have to wrestle substantially above their seed to get there. I think we have put some expectations on some of these kids that they will struggle to fulfill, nothing against the kids. Dont get too high and too low. I was a bit taken back by David's shellacking but Monday was wrestling out of his mind but McF has had times during the season where he was not been on his game. If you watch a lot of other teams wrestle, which I do, it give you an appreciation where our team truly is. They are young and the future is bright (sound like football?) but I trust that the coaches will keep doing the right things. However, it should be a wake up call for the team re: the ACC though and the toughness required to win. You don't bring your A game and get out of position and they will make you pay. Don't be too hard on the kids though..
