The team we had on the field should have beaten ODU (2018) and Duke (2019), period. We're dropping games to teams that are not very good. I'd allow it if we were playing a murderers row, like we're in the SEC West or something, but we're in the weakest division of, lets be honest, the 4th best (at most) P5 conference. 2019, no excuse for losing to BC or Duke; none. Both were BAD TEAMS. Both got pimp slapped by mediocre teams later in the year (often the very next week), both had losing seasons. And as for our other three losses after we "turned it around", one extra first down wins the bowl game, and probably UVA and ND, too, but alas, the great minds on the Offensive Staff couldnt conjure up anything to get *just one 1st down* in clutch time; meanwhile, the D (which everyone is sh!tting on) goes out and takes punch after punch holding them back for Eleven Minutes Straight and yet its their fault? Jesus.

Point being, 2019 as it turned out, we werent outclassed and out of our league broken down, like 2018. Yet 2019 almost cratered to nothing prior to Miami, wit one of the most humiliating total defeats of our program in certainly our Bowl Era history. The coaches deserve a lot of criticism for this, and its part and parcel with the garbage fire our program was from Jan 2018 through September 2019. And I dont trust that they've got their head in the game.
