We’re not Alabama, freshmen don’t come to VT physically ready to beat 23 year olds playing for other more established teams.

This isn’t basketball, you can’t turn over an entire roster in two year and expect them to be the best in the conference. I would argue that the talent on the team now beats out anything we had under Beamer (2017 was a fuente team). The kids becoming upperclassmen are going to be great players.
