I use a Amazon device, Alexa-Echo Dot. Plugged into a receiver input

Great for voice activation for sirius xm and other music apps such as Amazon Music and Pandora. Receiver pushes the wired family room speakers and I have multiple Amazon devices thru the house that can all be synced together through the Alexa everywhere app that provides me with somewhat of a whole house sound system without a lot of expense. I can even say "Alexa, play virginia tech on tunein radio, everywhere" and then i have the game playing all over the house, even to my hardwired speakers in the garage and outside screened in porch. Sweet! Also can pair phone/tablet to the Alexa/echo device and play music from that device.
When listening to Tech broadcasters and watching game on tv you just have to pause video enough to sync up to audio and you have a great experience of watching the game while listening to John and Mike. Has greatly improved my viewing experience!
Hope this info is of some help. You do have to subscribe to Amazon Prime and Alexa is always listening and probably reporting back to headquarters
