As I remind my friends about their personal lives


it is difficult to start a new chapter while old chapters are still open. If you want to start a new chapter, then close the old ones first. Given that Foster retired this year, I think it may be safe to say that the Beamer Era chapter is officially closed now. Now would be the perfect time for VT to start a brand new chapter.
