I do not know
She seemed like a super young lady and I followed her progress since she received an offer as a preferred walk-on from the previous staff in May, 2017. She reportedly had the chance to go to other schools with more scholarship money, but choose to attend VT and she was so very excited to become a Hokie. Just read some of her tweets, if you don't think she was a Hokie through and through.
For whatever reason, that path at VT apparently didn't work out. At the end of the day, college athletics is a tough gig, so both coaches and players have to make the decisions that are best for them - both athletically as well as (more importantly) in the game of life.
But I also know players and recruits read this board, and I hate for comments to be made that minimize a player's ability when fate takes them another direction.
Skyler was 110% Hokie while she was/is here, and I wish her nothing but the best in all of her future endeavors.
