After watching him in the Navy Classic, I'm convinced that this isn't a issue with him. Since, I recounted several of the facts of his match with Morgan wrong, I thought I'd revisit this match here, knowing that Flyer, and Dad will fill in that gaps if needed.

First, let's look at the the match with Morgan. Morgan was an even match with Bolen.
First Period. Morgan sets the the tone by scoring 40 seconds in, to which Bolen immediately escapes (2-1 Morgan, 49 seconds in). Bolen scores a TD with less than a minute left and rides Morgan for about 15 seconds to which Morgan gets an reversal and Bolen immediately gets the escape. 4-4 end of the first.

Second period: Bolen fights hard to get out, and does so after being ridden for 59 seconds. He gets the escape and both attempt to score but the period ends 5-4, Bolen, with RT at 55 seconds to Morgan.

Third period: Morgan escapes 12 seconds in to tie it up, 20 seconds later Bolen scores a TD and whittles down the RT where is it is not a factor, Morgan escapes and we're at 7-6 Bolen. With 22 seconds Morgan scores a winning TD, only to have Bolen escape and tie it at 8-8.

4th Both wrestlers dance in neutral.

5th. Morgan on bottom goes for the reversal to which Bolen headlocks him with his legs and gets a penalty for it. Bolen then repeatedly prevents the escape by driving Morgan out of bounds and gets a stall warning, 10-8 Morgan.

6th. Bolen is down, immediately gets the escape, and snags the TD with three seconds left 11-10 for Bolen.

In the finals, Bolen gets the winning TD with 5 seconds left to beat Tanner Harvey 6-5

Overall, I saw a wrestler that manages his energy very well and knows when he's got more gas that his opponents and then strikes. He always makes sure he's got something left for that winning takedown (even if it means he has to wait for the end of the match to try).
