Was that after he broke his vertebrae in practice and sat out a year, Todd Graham’s staff had him at 4-5 on the QB depth chart because he hadn’t worked out at all. They wanted him to play another position for a year and he refused. Whether or not his scholly was threatened is apparently just conjecture. He ended up transferring to a jr college.
