My notes on our guys

Hillegas- He started strong, but seems he’s pretty beat up. I think he was better than anyone in the field, but he looked like he was struggling the second day. A grayshirt to let him get healthy would be most ideal, but not likely. A redshirt with limited participation might be good too as I don’t know if he cracks the lineup his true or redshirt freshman year with the Moore’s and Andonian.

Clay Ulrey- He is still raw in my opinion. Reminds me of Mekhi a little bit going into his senior year. He had some bright spots, but a little sloppy. All in all there is a lot to work with in him. He’s a stud of an athlete. I like the upside here.

Hunter Catka- Just wow. I don’t think we have seen a full size big boy that wrestles like him. Kirkvliet and Gable are further along technique wise and athleticism, but Catka isn’t far behind and he has size to go with it. Not saying he will knock either one of those guys off, but the future is definitely bright here.
