Hokie Golf Review - Week 41

Johnson Wagner missed the cut this week, but otherwise it was good news for the other Hokies.

Joey Lane finished the season on PGA Tour China with ¥477508 (~$67,368.64) in winnings and an overall #10 finish which will advance him to the final round of Korn Ferry Q School. For the week he finished T33 at the Macau Championship, but overall he had a successful season in China.

Sarit Suwannarut finished T11 at the Singha Pattaya Open 2019 on the All Thailand Golf Tour winning ฿53,950.00 (~$1,771.37) He is currently #6 on the Thai Money List with one tournament to go next week in Bangkok.

Scott Vincent's weekend on the Japan Tour got cancelled by Typhoon Hagibis, so they only played two rounds at the Bridgestone Open. Only 75% of the purse was awarded and only 50% of the purse counted towards the money list. He finished T34, winning ¥463,125 (~$4,274.46) and dropped two spots on the money list to #23.

Tomorrow, Amanda Hollandsworth starts Round 2 of Symetra/LPGA Q School at Plantation Golf and Country Club in Florida. It will be played for 4 rounds on two courses (Panther and Bobcat). Top 30 and ties advance to the final round (Q-series). There are 185 players entered and there is no cut. If you do not advance the rest of the cutoffs are:

31-80 (Symetra Level I)
Any Finisher (Symetra Level K)

Amanda will start at 8:33 am Monday on the Bobcat course.
