Dad flew B-17's in WWII. Went on to a career in aeronautical engineering..


after graduating from VT. Always thought it would be cool to take him up in a 17 so did so in 2015. He was 90 at the time and scrambled around that plane like he was 20. Turns out it was the same plane, 909. Just talked to him, he was a bit sad.
