5-Star junior standout Frank Thompson - son of VT head coach Jim Thompson - recently decided to stay home and play for dad at Virginia Tech. Thompson posted great results in the USTA National tournaments this summer, and he has been steadily rising in the rankings. He is young - still 16 - and has a lot of upside. He should arrive on campus in Fall 2021. I linked to his profile below.

Apologies if this has already been posted - but I think it is a great sign that VT is attracting strong American recruits like Thompson and Fishback '20. I think that shows that the program is on strong footing. I think VT continues to improve in men's tennis moving forward.
