Took the wife and kids 12 & 9 for Spring Break this year.

We had a good time, but having checked it off the bucket list, we won’t do it again. We stayed for 3 nights and only left the property in search of slightly less expensive food. Logic being, if we’re paying $350+ per night for the room, we’re going to soak up every minute of pools, water slides, rapid river, beach and ocean. Having visited Atlantis twice before on cruises I knew exactly what to expect but the sticker shock of $100 lunches at a Johnny Rockets type burger place and an $85 pizza dinner did add up after a while. 3 days was the perfect amount of time to feel like we’d done everything the resort had to offer. If you’re planning on doing other Bahamas activities like going to see the pigs in the Exumas, I’d move to a different hotel where you’re not paying so much for a bed. Overall, we enjoyed our trip, we’re glad we went, but there’s too many places we haven’t been to do Atlantis a second time.
