Yeah, I caught that. a slight grrrr.

a slight grrr b/c yeah I get that you can't fit them all in, someone's choice is going to be left out.

What annoys me though is that Hartford actually sounds like the guy who might have had a bedroll to stash while Glen Cambell's great voice sounds like someone who's never had to walk farther then from the bus to the hotel. grrrrrrr.

Same with Ketch - who credited Bob Dylan with the snatch of a tune that seeded the song - for writing Wagon Wheel, he sounds like the guy in the song headed to North Caroline. Darius Rucker sounds a little too smooth, but that's what sells I guess. I know OCMS and Rucker are good friends though, it's all good.

Anyway, good catch, everyone thinks that Glen Campbell wrote that song, a lot of these lyrics sites cite him as the writer.

PS John Hartford performed on the drill field July 4th, 76? 77? I forget.

PPS Also ironic I guess b/c "Wagon Wheel" got the most play of all through the BofA advertisements (or whatever they call those on public tv)
