Do you know what story that movie is very loosely based on?


In the 70s I think, there was this rich trader named Richard Dennis. He and his partner made a bet about trading being innate vs something that could be taught. They advertised for interns that they taught trading, to see if any joe could become a Wall Street star. The conclusion was that it could be taught.

If you google, “ Richard Dennis turtle traders” you can read all about it.
