My question is why the state needs to pass a law saying kids can get paid. My thinking is there is no law currently restricting the earnings, but rather it is an NCAA rule.
I wasn't trying to make any commentary about paying players because I have mixed feelings about it, but just trying to understand if a law is really necessary.
