I have Cam Newton, and another team owner has Matt Ryan, and as a Falcons fan, I would much rather have Ryan on my team. He's amenable to trading, but I need to craft a trade that is a bit more even for both sides, as Ryan is expected to produce a little more than Newton. Given the two teams' rosters, below, what trade would you propose that would be a fair swap of QBs? League is 12 team PPR, short bench. Starts 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/WR, 1 TE, 1 D/ST, 1 K.
My team:
QB: Newton (CAR), Wilson (SEA)
RB: Elliott (DAL), Howard (PHI), Gordon (LAC)
WR: Brown (OAK), Woods (LAR), Moore (CAR), Green (CIN), Miller (CHI)
TE: Cook (NO)
D/ST: Chargers, Texans
K: Rosas (NYG)
His team:
QB: Prescott (DAL), Ryan (ATL)
RB: Johnson (DET), White (NE), Guice (WAS), Thompson (WAS)
WR: Jeffery (PHI), Adams (GB), Edelman (NE), Valdes-Scantling (GB), Metcalf (SEA)
TE: Njoku (CLE)
D/ST: Jaguars
K: Prater (DET)
Thoughts?
Update: Coworker has apparently looked at the rosters and given it some thoughts as well, and has proposed the following:
He receives: Newton (QB, CAR) and Cook (TE, NO)
I receive: Ryan (QB, ATL) and Njoku (TE, CLE)
His take is that he drafted Ryan 2 rounds after I (auto)drafted Newton, and I drafted Cook 2 rounds before he drafted Njoku. I'm good with this trade. It gets a Panther AND a Saint off my roster.
Thoughts?
