I knew one kid who had an apartment when he was a senior in high school (tells you his whole situation right there) who was convinced that the release of the whatever tool album was coming out in 2000 or 2001 was going to generate so much energy that on its release date it would destroy the earth and we would all ascend into some astral plane if we were worthy and devoted fans of the work
