Consolation round but mission accomplished, got two singles matches in which was my goal. About that 6-0, was lying in bed after losing yesterday hitting ball after ball in my head the right way. Not intentionally, just going mindlessly over the match, well apparently that works. I played that kind of game. Now, about the 5-7 when you're playing unconsciously (or very consciously) when you come back to earth you better have a plan B to get that rhythm back. or even just a B game and gut it out. To my credit was down 2-5 and brought it back to 5-5. Tiebreaker was one of those things where I got the jump, he tightened up and I didn't have to look back.

But again, I play a lot of doubles, not a lot of singles so goal achieved of hitting a lot of ground strokes. No points awarded by the USTA though.
