I think you would find it interesting
basically the army gave the navy shot up helicoptors
the navy had to fix them, and used them to protect the navy boats on Mekong delta
they also used them to put seals on the ground. If the seals got into trouble, they came in with fire power.
They modified guns etc. There gunners used free standing guns.
They would go out in the rain and dark. They had no fear.
During tet, they were in action within minutes.
Crazy crap, it is only an hour and half. The Vietnam war is interesting since it was a new type of war. Changes to guns and equipment were done on the fly. The technology advancements were very interesting, especially helicopter warfare.
