Don't know about playoffs, but any dynamic personality would recruit better


I think Fuente is a fine coach, and in a game vs anyone else in the coastal I'd generally bet on him.

However I think he's a better offensive coordinator then a head coach. He's not a good recruiter and the situation with Foster and his contract is too much to overcome for him right now coming off last season. This year's schedule is historically bad, quite literally the weakest in the entire P5 by the S&P and other advanced metrics.

We've got 2 FCS teams, ODU, and our crossover opponents are BC and Wake. GT, UNC, and Miami all have new coaches and Duke lots every good player they had last year, Pitt lost all their running backs and lineman, and UVA lost their defensive engine.

We lose nobody, if we can't win 8 games Fuente should absolutely be starting up his car to hit the road. This recruiting class will have the worst average ranking since ratings came out.
