So yesterday, May 30th, I got a Jury Summons. My 'service' starts on.....

June 10th. Yes, that's right....11 days notice. Are they insane?

Yes, I can defer, but even with that option it's nuts for them to think that any working person could just bail, potentially for a whole week, on such short notice.

I'm trying to line things up so I can get it out of the way as requested, because if I pick a date X months from now, well, I'll know for sure when it is, but as of right now I won't have any idea of my workload as of that future date.

What I do definitely has ebbs and flows.
