JMU Coach LaPorte very complementary of the Hokies


Nice article on her in today'as Roanoke Times - she played at Roanoke College and started her coaching career there before going to Radford and then JMU.

When asked about JMU being snubbed as a regional host, she said that going to Michigan was the best thing for JMU.

“This was probably the best regional for us,” LaPorte said. “If we would’ve hosted, it would’ve probably been a tougher regional for us. … We would’ve had [Virginia] Tech.”

So she would rather play on the road at Michigan than play at home with VT in the bracket..That's pretty high praise. I like this lady.
