I realize we want to support the team and all the coaches. But - Considering our pitching coach has only 1.5yrs experience in the ACC and formerly a D2 pitcher himself. And our bullpen coach is a 23yr old grad assistant. How much time do you give the staff? Szefc is a proven head coach in the ACC, but the staff is not (Base on Balls and Fannie Packs) One pitcher struggling might be a talent issue - multiple pitchers struggling causes a question to think beyond the talent. I know Fectau is not making those pitches - I also know the 23yr old bullpen coach is not making the pitches.

Is it Pitch calling? Preparation in the bullpen? Respect? I’m not sure either.

I’m sure future commits, and returning players, are looking at other programs so waiting a few more years may cause recruiting casualties. The chief (Szefc) will have to make some tough decisions this summer.
