Sure it would help drive interest for the conference


However, the other conferences can broadcast "good games" too. Plus, if the TV audience has a rooting interest in 1 or both teams, then they will probably watch the game. What isn't clear is if the Pac-12 is direction competition with the other power conferences, then how many people would pick to watch the Pac-12's "good game" instead of another power conference's "good game" or even a game they may have a rooting interest in.
