Riding time and Lewis at the NCAAs


Novice fan, and yes, I know that scoring is the object in wrestling. However, I found it amazing that in Mehki's five matches, his opponent was in control for a grand total of 51 seconds. Wick and Joseph managed to get mats returns, but Mehki always came up to two feet quickly.

On the flip side, Wick was the only one who ever came up quick and escaped (on a re-start). Mehki had a riding time advantage of just under 8 minutes for the tournament.

Coy -- Down for 5 seconds, riding time +2:56

McCormick -- Down for 6 seconds, riding time +2:48

Marinelli -- Down for 5 seconds, riding time +.52

Wick -- Down for 19 seconds, riding time +.32

Joseph -- Down for 16 seconds, riding time +.49
