scrutiny when they underperform to expectation..they deserve praise when they do better than expected...but to paint today's canvas with a picture of yesterday's results is IMHO pointless and needlessly negative. Judge your "kids" on how they do..don't judge them BEFORE they do. If you do that, you may - and probably do- impact in a negative way how they do.

Aside from the parent/child analogy, IMHO there's NO value in criticizing this year's team in any way, shape or form based on what last year's did.
