These 2 teams are so evenly matched and well coached. Coach LaPorte has kept this mid major team in the top tier (20 ) of college softball, a very difficult task. Since Mickey left she has not missed a beat.. And as far as Coach Pete goes he took the program to the top tier as well, in one season. The stands will be packed, nothing better than Hokie Softball.
