He's not a 57 year old coach who has had great success at a P5 level before. That doesn't mean for a minute that he CAN'T do it here, but the facts are that his HC experience is all at a much lower level than the ACC in which he'll now have to compete. If we were hiring Rick Barnes or some 57 year old coach who had taken an SEC/B12/P12/whatever team to the tourney a bunch of times, I do believe the age thing would be mentioned less.
