You never know what you'll encounter on the beltway


I was coming back from a weekend ski trip and saw a car stopped in the far left lane abeam the exit ramp they wanted to take. They wanted to cut across every lane to get to that exit. Thankfully it was still daylight, so they hadn't caused an accident by the time I arrived. Had to swerve two lanes to the right to avoid a pileup.

Thats when you just wish there was a police car in the vicinity!
