Russell Turner.

would be worth a look. Hard to say if there would really be any interest on his part. He has been on the left coast for quite a while now at Stanford, Golden State, etc. and his wife(unless she has recently taken a step back) has a great position with the medical center there. His father-in-law is a former hokie football player so there are ties to VT and the area still.

As far as that state championship team, Lynch was a star not a sixth man. Basham came off the bench and the other big guy was Melvin Harris(?) who passed away a few years back. Dematha's big star was Jerod Mustaf and they had a few other D-1's as well. Mourning was the star of the Indian River team they beat in the playoffs. The players on that team and the coach will tell you that they beat a lot of very good teams in their run to the championship and, while not mentioned often, their toughest match up may have been a GW Danville team with Herman Moore that they beat in the regions.
