Has anyone here had a shoulder replacement?
Lots of osteoarthritis going on here. I had spine surgery over a year ago, and both knees have been replaced. But I’m delaying (hopefully forever) having shoulder joints replaced—despite intense pain sometimes and dull pain all the time. Just watched my husband rehab a broken upper humerus (no surgery, healed in place)—would a shoulder replacement be a lot harder or easier than that? Just wondering about...
1. how others coped with using one arm
2. how painful the PT will be
3. how shoulder joint replacement compares with other joint replacements
4. whether you’re glad you had the surgery, and anything else about your experience. (Thanks) [Post edited by Mama Goose at 02/25/2019 6:32PM]
