ZZ was fine - top move?

I don't think ZZ did anything remotely dirty or anything that should disappoint you.

I think the only time you may be thinking of is when ZZ was on top and he was going for the bow and arrow turk. That's the move where he's top, get's his leg under the bottom man's leg around the thigh, with his hand lifts around the shoe laces. The knee is actually in the natural bend position there and pressure is actually applied more on the hip and back. ZZ never actually got him into the position where there would have been a lot of pressure - just where Reenan would not have been able to get out easily. If you want to see the full pressure of the move is tight I believe ZZ did that to Duke pretty well - and similarly Yianni (Cornell) got it pretty tight on MMoore who fought it off (amazingly I might add).

I have never seen that position called potential dangerous before and have been more from Reenan's reaction. Can't blame the refs too much for it, but ZZ probably should have had choice there since they stopped the match for a "scream".

ZZ has the muscle memory for that move as an automatic reaction as all AAs do for their best moves they've practiced thousands of times. ZZ doesn't know the extent of the injury, nor should he be thinking about. He's in a match where the opponent is trying to beat him and the move is there, he'll hit without thinking twice.

As admirable as we see athletes competing with injuries, its unfair to expect the opponent to know the extent of the injury and accommodate for it.

If there was an active attempt to injure or re-injure you should be disappointed regardless of the level of competition, but that was not the case here.
