Nick Saban knows if you lose a single football game there’s a decent chance you won’t have a shot to play for a national championship. However, if you recall the Florida team that lost and Tim Tebow vowed that it would drive them the rest of the year, that certainly seemed to be the case.

Regardless, wrestling is completely different because national champions and AAs are decided in a tournament, not a dual meet. If this provides fuel for the rest of the season, it would be worth losing to UNC to improve our performance at the NCAA tournament.
