He also needs a higher data limit.

But yes, if you have a streaming device, you can pay a separate $15 a month fee to subscribe to HBONow.

Last time I moved, cable company was offering free HBO for three months. First time I went to HBOGo to stream something, found out that cable provider didn't support HBOGo. To me, HBO is completely useless without access to streaming. I'm just too accustomed to watching a show on my schedule, not theirs, to go back at this point.

I ended up actually cancelling the HBO subscription even though it was free. Signed up for HBONow through Roku instead.

Although I may drop it once GoT ends. I was getting HBO for The Brink, Silicon Valley, Hard Knocks, Ballers, and GoT. The Brink was cancelled. Silicon Valley just isn't quite as funny as it used to be. Hard Knocks is getting repetitive. Ballers is going in a weird direction. GoT is almost done. The few movies I do watch I can just get at a Redbox, Netflix, or Amazon Prime. I'm not sure the content on HBO is worth $15 a month to me anymore.
