Finally convinced my dad...


To get rid of his 50" Samsung TV that he bought back in 2007 last year. Had him upgrade to one of the better 65" Sony models and he loves it.

If you get a good Samsung product they last a very long time but unfortunately their quality has been dipping for the last few years. Though, it depends on what "model" you get. Generally, their higher end models usually hold up pretty well.
