would have won this game today with Hicks. Her speed, quickness and ability to handle the ball is precisely what we need. Additionally, she was always good for 2 or 3 steals per game with break away layups. While I don't know why she left, I do know it happened under Brooks' watch.

Now we have no one with her skill, and when we get pressed they panic, and they throw the ball anywhere just to get rid of it. On 3 consecutive possessions with 4 or 5 minutes left, they just threw it away (1 each Jean, Kendyl and Mabry, and Mabry threw it away after passing up a wide open shot inside the 3 point line), not only that, but they threw it so that FSU could get easy break away layups. Would have been much better to have just thrown it into the stands, at least we may have been able to get a stop in the half court defense. Another poor but better option, hold the ball tight and allow opponents to reach in and tie us up, at least on the alternating held ball rule half the time we get it back, and no break away lay ups. Of course I am being sarcastic, but that would have been better that just throwing it up for grabs. (Like Mabry did twice against Carolina on inbounds plays under our basket.)

And one more thing, how about we get a coach that at least appears to be in the game. Seems that every other coach is up giving instructions and working the refs. Is the money and the opportunity to get his kids scholarships at a top university enough? I think I have seen more enthusiasm from coma victims.
