I had to call 3 times...

But I basically asked each time for the new subscriber deal and offered to switch from month to month to 1 year up front. Expressed that I wanted to lower my cost because I like it, but don't use it enough to justify the pricing. Also noted that none of the plans that are reasonable carried the channels I wanted.

Eventually got someone who took the offer. At the time it was $100 up front for the full year for the full plan (EVERYTHING they offer) and they gave me an Amazon Echo Dot 3rd Gen.

Looks like the best deal right now is for returning listeners at $5 per month for 6 months. Not sure if that plan is limited or for everything.

Just takes some persistence. First time I did it I just told them that my friend had just gotten that offer and I'd like it too and they didn't push.
