Thanks, didn't know it was going to happen in January

was thinking April or May which matters to me b/c I would probably buy a new desktop to replace my 2007 (?) desktop. I upgraded that to 10 which just slowed it down to a craw (kinda irritating b/c I believe that was due to Microsoft wanting to serve out more adds so I'd sit there and wait for the system to download all the advertisements before I could do what I WANTED TO DO) so I rolled it back to 7 which was an adventure in itself having to find a seven setup disk, but lo and behold someone was selling one for ~ $10 (Sure, you could buy one off Amazon or ebay for $500 kinda stuff) with good instructions. A tip of the hat to someone out in the universe for doing something right. Hope he made a few more bucks off that. I of course, still had the key but still a few twists and turns to becoming legal again.

Anyway, thanks for the alert, I like to use things to the last but maybe I'm already in the zone to replace now, figured next spring but there is no "next spring" now. It takes its time booting up (but not really) haven't been able to upgrade video card in a long time, something spinning is making a lot of noise while it boots up, and probably a lot of stuff that's just gotten better in ten years, my usual discovering stuff five years after everyone else does. But then again, I need it for spreadsheets and Word and cruising the internet, not much chance of getting into gaming.
