Vivint is basically a whole home security system with monitoring.


They reel you into a 5 year contract thought to pay for the hardware they install along with running wiring. I'm not big on 5 year contract.

I've been looking at smart deadbolts for a while and would like to get one. Either without a keypad or with. I like the August Smarklock Pro right now. Installation looks simple and it links up with security systems if you have one or get one in the future.
