Apparently, the Satanists' sculpture is currently not the only 'other' display in the Illinois Capitol rotunda. There is a Hanukkah menorah and also a display from the Freedom From Religion Foundation marking the winter solstice that asserts "Religion is but myth and superstition that hardens hearts and enslaves minds."

Apparently in 2008, some dude got permission to install a Festivus pole with a sign that said the "traditional airing of grievances" would begin soon.
