Because it has a purpose. It is marketing of a product and brand


The brand is many types of clothing but is probably best known for women's underwear and bras. So the VS fashion show is a show of their product line being used by the intended group (women). That is the basic purpose and function of the show...advertising.

That is vastly different than "sexploitation of women". The show is for women and for the men who buy their products for women. Anybody who views the show as about fantasy or exhibition of women is putting their own personal spin on reality. You can see the exact same content in a JC Penny catalog or in pictures at the local Target.
