Bad Offensive Calling in 3Q is the killer

I can't really buy the lack of execution aspect anymore, because the guys are executing in the 1st half; you dont magically start sucking the second the 2nd half starts. The difference appears to be that our opponents' DCs are doing their jobs and making adjustments, while our OC is... not. So what were catches before become near misses because the DC made some timing adjustments or masked a coverage or got a defender in a step earlier due to a shift, etc etc etc. We go 3 and out, and our gassed team of 18yo defenders get whipped. The D I give a pass to- theres very little you can do for true frosh in terms of adjustments or extra scheming (thats what experience allows). They can just try and execute the basics as best they can; the best way to help them is to keep them off the field (or at least keep the score popping on our side, if we cant help but score quickly). The utter lack of adjustment on O with a mostly-intact offense from last year is the most damning indictment.
