I think

That it's the competition, if I'm being honest, you have parents that pay so much for school and travelling for tournaments what's adding a couple more years of expense. For example, Michael Beard is grayshirting right now after attending a prep school that costs roughly 31.5k to attended a year without any kind of financial aid(Disclaimer: I don't know the Beards or any specifics of this example 31.5k is just tuition at Malvern Prep) for in state tuition to PSU... You get the picture. Going to PSU in no way can be bad for you if you can't crack the lineup you can transfer out a be a hot commodity because with the way they're recruiting chances are you were a bluechip that got recruited over and if you don't transfer out sit back and collect rings. The RTC angle is hit or miss. I think it's stupid to make that claim because you can't project who is going to be a bust or not or get hurt so to put money into something so uncertain is just dumb and asking for a whistleblower.
